Verification of Domain Registrant Email

As part of domain registration process for Generic Domains ( such as .com .net . org .ect) which are manage by ICANN, they need to verfiy your email address within 15 days of the domain registration. When you register the domain, you will get an email from us asking to verify your email address with verification link.

You only have to do this one time.

If you do not verify your email address within 15 days, your domain will stop working and it will start showing message like this.

 

In order to re-activate your web site, only you have to do is click on the link we sent you over email.

NOTE: It may take upto 48 hours after verification for the domain name to start resolving to its website again.

 

As per 2013 ICANN RAA (Registrar Accreditation Agreement), contact information must be verify in following occasions,

As a part of the Whois Data Accuracy specification, ICANN expects the Registrar to verify the contact information for the Registrant contact of
each gTLD domain name, within 15 days of

* a domain name being registered with unverified contact details,

* a domain name being transferred in, or

* the contact information of the Registrant contact information being
modified.
