PHP default file upload size is 2 MB. But this can be increase from the cPanel. Here are the steps

1. Log-in to your cPanel

2. Click on the option "Select PHP Version" under SOFTWARE category

3. Click on "Swich to PHP Options" link

 4. From PHP Screen, you can change upload_max_filesize propery to higher value like 16 MB / 32 MB

5. Once you update. save the settings to reflect above changes.

This option is available by default if you account is on CloudLinux
